From the Original FOCUS Gold to FOCUS PLUS Gold (both with 80 Plus Gold efficiency levels) to the FOCUS GM, FOCUS GX and the 80 Plus Platinum rated FOCUS PT, Seasonic has released 22 different FOCUS power supplies, ranging from 450 to 1000 watts. And that’s not counting the white-painted and SFX versions of the PSUs.That’s why it comes at no surprise that Seasonic decided to upgrade the FOCUS again—the GX series in particular. On paper, the biggest update is a ‘must’ for any modern performance PSU—support for ATX 3.0. However, that’s far from the only change.
