Thankfully, Steam hosts different sales events throughout the year, which offer discounts on hundreds of titles. Most recently, we saw the conclusion of the Autumn Sale, but that didn’t stop some games from staying dirt cheap. Next up on the calendar is the Steam Winter Sale which is due to kick off on December 19th. If you can’t wait for it to arrive, maybe you should consider checking out Epic Games and GOG, as the pair of them have already launched their Winter sales events – the perfect opportunity to buy if you’re open to purchasing from platforms outside of Steam. The discounts vary for each game, with some being only 5% off, while others are discounted by as much as 90%. On top of that, we’re also seeing some discounts on new releases and Epic Games is giving away a bunch of add-on (DLC) packs for free. Keep in mind that the Epic Games sale lasts until January 9, while GOG’s discounts will end on January 3, 2025.
